Atinuke’s story

Purpose in Pain was born out of the hardest thing I have ever walked through — the loss of my son. In that grief, I came to know a God who does not leave us alone in the dark, and slowly, a calling took shape: to walk alongside others carrying their own unimaginable loss.

I am not here to rush you, to fix you, or to tell you how you should feel. Grief is not a problem to be solved — it is love with nowhere to go. What I offer is presence before answers: a gentle, safe place to be heard, to make sense of what you're feeling, and to find that even here, hope and purpose can grow.

Purpose in Pain is a Christian ministry, and faith is woven gently through everything I do — I'll share honestly how God has met me in my own sorrow. Everyone is welcome, whatever you believe. We meet online, so wherever you are in the world, you are not too far away.

That care takes two shapes: Pelumi, a private one-to-one journey over five gentle weeks, and Cherish, a small group where a little community can hold one another. However you come, my prayer is the same — that you would know you do not walk this road alone.
